This post has made me stop and think much more deeply than the others in this challenge so far. Everyone likes the feeling of being helpful, but to sit and write something my readers find so has made me stop and think very deeply about what exactly I would like my readers to feel when they stop by here and think more on what they actually come here for.
When I first started thinking about setting up this blog, I was talking with my web designer (who is utterly fabulous!) about the whole concept I was looking for and my overall feeling was a sense of readers feeling happier, more confident, self secure and giving themselves permission to indulge in themselves as individual women. To make enough time for themselves to enable them to flourish in their own lives, whether that be as single women, partners, wives or mothers.
The feeling of losing their identity once their lives moved on from their late teens or early twenties was a common theme when talking to women in my boutique and this seemed to be something a lot of women wanted to get over. Whether the feeling was born from career changes, getting married, having children or other things, a feeling of knowing themselves as grown women and liking themselves was something everyone I spoke to wanted to find.
There’s nothing I find more rewarding than when I’ve had a conversation with someone and they leave it feeling happier, more confident and with a certain strut in their step. So, for my helpful post I have decided to share some of the quotes about beauty and confidence that I love.
