Just recently we’ve been talking about how we’ve not had that feeling from a new album in a long long time – you know the feeling of not being able to wait to hear it. On repeat. All day . . .
Well, I can safely say my musical itch has been scratched by Jungle. I’ve had this on repeat for days now and I LOVE it.
In the office, in the car, at the gym. It’s totally my new album crush, but then you can’t fail to fall in love with an album that Time Out describes as “electronic music with human heart, marry[ing] underground cool with main-stage appeal, and do[ing] it with vision and conviction”. NME bless it with the words “funky and reflective” and The Guardian refer to it as “modernist soul”.
Take a listen to this track – you’ll probably recognise exactly who I’m talking about once you hear it.
